In Willie’s words:
I am a child of Holocaust survivors who are both very traumatized. My story is that I experience childhood trauma and generational trauma that I had bottled up for decades. In 2021 I began working on a memoir that unleashed a torrent and buried trauma and memories. I saw therapy in over the last 12 months working on healing myself. Part of that Journey includes managing that inner voice and now I’m working on a book on generational trauma to help others like me.
This book provides a front-row seat to a Jewish family’s trauma and resilience.
